Maisan Tapsa Temple [마이산탑사], which translates to ‘Pagoda Temple’, is a small temple complex located on the Maisan Mountain.It finds its origin in 1885 when Buddhist hermit Yi Gap Yong came to this mountain to meditate and started to create over 80 conical stone pagodas (all without mortar) during the following 30 years.
